View Waiting Families
If you are a woman considering adoption for your baby, it's likely because you want to give your child the best life imaginable - and it is always up to you to choose the perfect adoptive family who will provide that future for your baby.
But searching for the adoptive parents who match the vision you have can be overwhelming. That's why all of Forever Families' waiting families create adoption profiles, complete with photos and information that can help you get to know more about each of these hopeful parents. When you browse the adoptive parent profiles on our site, you can read more about each family's lifestyle, their home and neighborhood, their desire to adopt and so much more.
In addition, Forever Families creates unique adoption profile videos for each family, which help to tell their story, share their excitement about growing their family and give you an even better picture of the type of life they would provide to your child.
After reviewing a prospective adoptive parent profile and video online, you may find that you have additional questions about the adoptive family and want to know more. If this is the case, you can simply complete the contact form that is included at the bottom of all of our online adoption profiles.
But you don't have to sort through profiles of adoptive parents on your own. You can call 1-859-ADOPTION at any time to speak with an adoption specialist - whether you have questions about one of our adoption online profiles, want help sorting through adopting parents' profiles or simply want more information about adoption in general.
In addition to the online adoptive parent profiles below, you can also view hard-copy print profiles of parents who wish to adopt, based on your specific preferences for your child's adoptive parents. Your adoption specialist will create and manage this list of families for you. When you work with an adoption specialist at Forever Families, you can specify all of your desires for the adoptive family, including:
- Demographic details like their age, racial and cultural background, religion and more
- Where they live and what their home and neighborhood is like
- What their hobbies, interests and values are
- The number of other children they currently have
- And more
Once your adoption specialist has an idea of what you're looking for in adoptive parents, she'll send you waiting families' profiles that may be a good fit for your individual adoption plan. You can review as many adoptive parent profiles as you need, and you may decide to change your preferences about the adoptive family at any time.
When you find an adoption profile that sticks out to you - when you get that gut feeling about a certain adoptive family - let your adoption specialist know. She can give you more information about the family and answer any questions you might have about their family profile for adoption. When you're ready, your adoption specialist will set up a conference call so you and the adoptive parents can get to know one another better.
From there, you can continue getting to know the prospective adoptive parents through the remainder of your adoption process. Or, you may decide that the family you initially chose is not quite the right fit for you. That's completely okay; you can work with your adoption specialist to look through more family profiles for adoption and repeat the process until you find the perfect family you've been looking for.
Finding the right adoptive family for your baby can be exciting, emotional, nerve-wracking and bittersweet - but most of all, when you see the right adoptive parents' profile, it can be the reassurance you need that you are doing an amazing thing for your child.
